Köpingebro IF

Köpingebro IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Köpingebro IF, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Köpingebro IF could be found in Group 20 together with Sundsvalls DFF, Tyresö FF, Luleå Damfotboll and Texas Spirit SC. Köpingebro IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Norrköping, IFK with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Västerås FK won over Tölö IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Köpingebro comes from Köpingebro/Ystad which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Köpingebro/Ystad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Spjutstorps IF, Ystads IF FF, Dalby GIF/Genarps IF and Veberöds AIF).
