Turf City Football Club

Turf City Football Club was one of 6 clubs from Singapore that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Turf City Football Club, 134 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Turf City Football Club could be found in Group 10 together with Escola Academia Sporting 2, Finlandia-Pallo AIF and South Central FC 1. Turf City Football Club continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against JSSL Arsenal Singapore 1 with 4-5. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Turf City Football comes from Singapore which lies approximately 10000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Singapore does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Shoot Football Academy, ESPZEN Soccer School, International SA, JSSL Arsenal Singapore and F-17 Academy).
