IFK Västerås FK

IFK Västerås FK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to IFK Västerås FK, 93 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof IFK Västerås FK could be found in Group 6 together with Tyresö FF 1, Scandia United SA and Åre SLK. IFK Västerås FK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 4-6. In the Final, AIK FF won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. IFK Västerås FK comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
