Mörbylånga GoIF

Mörbylånga GoIF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Mörbylånga GoIF, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Mörbylånga GoIF could be found in Group 8 together with Högs SK, CD Inter Vista Alegre 1 and Mönsterås GoIF. Mörbylånga GoIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IK Oddevold with 0-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Mörbylånga GoIF comes from Mörbylånga which lies approximately 300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mörbylånga does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Team Södermöre, Möre BK, Madesjö IF, Kristianopels GOIF, IFK Kalmar and Färjestadens GoIF).
