Gamla Upsala SK

Gamla Upsala SK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Gamla Upsala SK, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Gamla Upsala SK could be found in Group 6 together with Årjäng IF, Marin FC and Qviding FIF. Gamla Upsala SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ellerau, SC with 0-2. In the Final, Djurgården IF FF won over FH and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Gamla Upsala SK comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Vaksala SK, Bälinge IF, Sunnersta AIF, IK Fyris, Storvreta IK, Unik FK, Sigtuna IF, IK Sirius FK, Håbo FF and Upsala IF).
