Årjäng IF

Årjäng IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Årjäng IF, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Årjäng IF could be found in Group 6 together with Gamla Upsala SK, Marin FC and Qviding FIF. Årjäng IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK FF 2 with 2-4. In the Final, Djurgården IF FF won over FH and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Årjäng comes from Årjäng which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
