Kristianopels GOIF

Kristianopels GOIF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Kristianopels GOIF, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Kristianopels GOIF could be found in Group 22 together with Valur, Dals Långeds IK and Köpingebro IF. Kristianopels GOIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lessebo GoIF with 0-2. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Kristianopels GOIF comes from Fågelmara which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Fågelmara does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Rödeby AIF, Team Södermöre, Möre BK, Mörbylånga GoIF, Nättraby GoIF and FK Karlskrona).
