Byttorps IF

Byttorps IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Byttorps IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Byttorps IF could be found in Group 44 together with JSG Vissel, Vasalunds IF and Runar, IL. Byttorps IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Onsala BK with 3-4. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Byttorps comes from Borås which lies approximately 59 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Bergdalens IK, Gerdskens BK, IFK Örby, IF Elfsborg, Sandared/Sjömarkens IF, Alingsås KIK, Tranemo IF, Kronängs IF, Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF and Brämhults IK).
