Älta IF

In addition to Älta IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Älta IF could be found in Group 33 together with Gjelleråsen IF 2, Sils IF and KF Besa-Peja. Älta IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 0-5. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Älta IF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Slutspel B, but lost it against Azalea BK with 1-2.
