Sils IF

Sils IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Sils IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Sils IF could be found in Group 33 together with Gjelleråsen IF 2, Älta IF and KF Besa-Peja. Sils IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skiljebo SK with 1-2. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Sils comes from Götene which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Götene does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Falköpings KIK, Skultorps IF, Götene IF, Mariestads BK, Johannesbergs LIF, Skara FC and IFK Mariestad).
