In addition to the two Eskilstuna City FK teams, 175 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna City FK 2 could be found in Group 19 together with Tynecastle Football Club, Club da Turma and IL Jotun. Eskilstuna City FK 2 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 0-5. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Eskilstuna City FK also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012.
