De Anza Force

De Anza Force was one of 34 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to De Anza Force, 39 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof De Anza Force could be found in Group 10 together with KFV Segeberg, Frösö IF and Jitex BK. De Anza Force continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Team Noga CT with 0-5. In the Final, Marin FC won over Darlington Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. De Anza Force comes from Cupertino, CA which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than De Anza Force, the club Gryphons Soccer Club does also originate from the area around Cupertino, CA.
