Frösö IF

Frösö IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Frösö IF, 39 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Frösö IF could be found in Group 10 together with De Anza Force, KFV Segeberg and Jitex BK. Frösö IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 1-3. In the Final, Marin FC won over Darlington Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Frösö comes from Östersund which lies approximately 620 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Frösö IF, the club IFK Östersund does also originate from the area around Östersund.
