Mariestads BK

Mariestads BK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Mariestads BK, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Mariestads BK could be found in Group 32 together with Perles Noires AF, CA Intercups Mexico and Assi IF. Mariestads BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 0-10. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Mariestads comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mariestad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Götene IF, Sils IF, Johannesbergs LIF and IFK Mariestad).
