Lagans AIK

Lagans AIK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Lagans AIK, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Lagans AIK could be found in Group 43 together with Ascot United FC, Jyllinge FC and Åsa IF. Lagans AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Emmaboda Komb. with 1-4. In the Final, Karlslunds IF HFK won over Emmaboda Komb. and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Lagans AIK comes from Lagan which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lagan does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Ljungby IF and Alvesta GIF).
