Ascot United FC

Ascot United FC was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ascot United FC, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Ascot United FC could be found in Group 43 together with Jyllinge FC, Åsa IF and Lagans AIK. Ascot United FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against J-L Juniors with 0-2. In the Final, Club América won over J-L Juniors and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Ascot United FC also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Slutspel A, but lost it against Chivas Guadalajara with 0-10. Ascot United FC comes from ASCOT, BERKSHIRE which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around ASCOT, BERKSHIRE does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Charterhouse School, St. Johns School, Surrey Elite, Elite Football FC and Bradfield College).
