FC Honka

FC Honka was one of 15 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to FC Honka, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof FC Honka could be found in Group 12 together with Frisco, IK /HSK, Spårvägens FF and Fortuna FF. FC Honka continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against AIK FF 1 with 1-3. In the Final, AIK FF 1 won over Benson Soccer and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. FC Honka comes from Espoo which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Espoo does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Special Olympics Finland,, Helsingfors IFK, FC, HJK Helsinki, HooGee, NuPS/FC WILD YJ, PK-35, Tikkurilan Palloseura, FC Viikingit and Pajämäki).
