Rynninge IK

Rynninge IK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rynninge IK, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Rynninge IK could be found in Group 27 together with IL Vestbyen, Academy of Baghdad and Roanoke Star Elite. Rynninge IK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rödeby AIF with 3-4. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Rynninge comes from Örebro which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örebro does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Yxhults IK, Sköllersta IF, IF Eker Örebro, Karlslunds IF HFK, KIF Örebro DFF, IF Eker and Lillån FK).
