Ersmarks IK

Ersmarks IK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Ersmarks IK, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Ersmarks IK could be found in Group 15 together with Matfors IF, Fyllingsdalen FK and BK Höllvikens. Ersmarks IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Skanör-Falsterbo IF with 1-2. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Ersmarks comes from Umeå which lies approximately 820 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Umedalens IF, Hörnefors IF, Mariehem SK, IFK Umeå, Sörfors IF, Sandåkerns Sörfors SK, Tegs SK, Sandviks IK, Umeå Södra FF and Gimonäs Umeå IF).
