Norrsken, FC

Norrsken, FC was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Norrsken, FC, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Norrsken, FC could be found in Group 26 together with Ulricehamns IFK, BRFC and Norrstrands IF. Norrsken, FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Genarps IF/Dalby GIF with 0-4. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 98G Morgan won over BK Farum and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Norrsken, FC comes from Piteå which lies approximately 990 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Notvikens IK, Sunderby SK, Storfors AIK, Bergnäsets AIK, Piteå IF and Gammelstads IF).
