Norrstrands IF

Norrstrands IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Norrstrands IF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Norrstrands IF could be found in Group 26 together with Ulricehamns IFK, BRFC and Norrsken, FC. Norrstrands IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vasalunds IF with 0-9. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Norrstrands comes from Karlstad which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Karlstad does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (QBIK, Villastadens IF, IFK Ölme, FBK Karlstad, Skattkärrs IF and IF Hammaren).
