KA

KA was one of four clubs from Iceland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to KA, 111 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof KA could be found in Group 6 together with Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Triangelns IK and Piteå IF. KA continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Boo FF with 1-2. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. KA comes from Skutuvogur 13 A which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skutuvogur 13 A does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Snaefellsnes, FH and Tindastoll).
