Nesodden IF

Nesodden IF was one of 55 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Nesodden IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Nesodden IF could be found in Group 41 together with Hampton School FC, Hjulsbro IK and IF Elfsborg. Nesodden IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 41. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SC Sperber with 0-1. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Nesodden IF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Slutspel A, but lost it against BV Werther with 0-1. Nesodden comes from Nesodden which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nesodden does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Skjetten SK, Gjelleråsen IF, Nittedal IL, Strømmen IF, Gruner Fotball, Strømsgodset IF, Lørenskog IF, Oppsal IF, Lillestrøm SK and Hauger FK).
