IF Elfsborg

In addition to IF Elfsborg, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof IF Elfsborg could be found in Group 41 together with Nesodden IF, Hampton School FC and Hjulsbro IK. IF Elfsborg continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 41. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Consadole Sapporo with 6-7. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IF Elfsborg also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the Semi final in B15 Slutspel A, but lost it against Kampala Junior Team with 0-1.
