In addition to Maharashtra, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Maharashtra could be found in Group 24 together with Towamencin, TSC Wellingsbüttel and Piteå IF. Maharashtra continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against F.C. Beirut 1 with 0-2. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16.
