Towamencin

Towamencin was one of 30 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Towamencin, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Towamencin could be found in Group 24 together with TSC Wellingsbüttel, Piteå IF and Maharashtra. Towamencin continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Elite Football FC with 1-5. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Towamencin comes from North Wales which lies approximately 6200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
