Special Olympics Latvia

Special Olympics Latvia was one of two clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Kim Källström Trophy. In addition to Special Olympics Latvia, 27 other teams from 12 different countries played in Kim Källström Trophy. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Special Olympics Latvia could be found in Group 2 together with Special Olympics Azerbaijan, Special Olympics Lithuania and LUI Handicapidræt. Special Olympics Latvia comes from LV-1014 Riga which lies approximately 740 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Special Olympics Latvia, the club JFC Skonto does also originate from the area around LV-1014 Riga.
