Club América Coapa 4

Club América Coapa was one of 12 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Club América Coapa, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Club América Coapa 4 could be found in Group 7 together with Baltyk Gdynia, Sollefteå GIF FF, TSV Weyhe-Lahausen and IFK Lidingö FK. Club América Coapa 4 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against ACBB Paris with 0-1. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Other than Club América Coapa, the club Santos Laguna does also originate from the area around .
