Performance Football Academy

Performance Football Academy was one of three clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Performance Football Academy, 140 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Performance Football Academy could be found in Group 4 together with Kungsladugårds BK 2, C.D. San Patricio 1 and Svegs IK. Performance Football Academy continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 1-12. In the Final, IF Elfsborg won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 12. Performance Football Academy comes from İstanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Performance Football Academy, the club Galatasaray Lisesi does also originate from the area around İstanbul.
