Svegs IK

Svegs IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Svegs IK, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Svegs IK could be found in Group 4 together with Kungsladugårds BK 2, Performance Football Academy and C.D. San Patricio 1. Svegs IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against San Javier Guadalajara with 0-2. In the Final, Beirut FAC won over San Javier Guadalajara and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 12. Svegs comes from Sveg which lies approximately 500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
