Egernførde UF

Egernførde UF was one of 15 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Egernførde UF, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Egernførde UF could be found in Group 31 together with SG LTW Leezen, South Dartmoor CC and Onsala BK. Egernførde UF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against CEF 18 Tucuman with 0-6. In the Final, CEF 18 Tucuman won over Club Reunion and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 13. Egernførde UF comes from D- Eckernförde which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around D- Eckernförde does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (KFV Neumünster and TSV Altenholz).
