Husie IF

Husie IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Husie IF, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Husie IF could be found in Group 24 together with All India Youth Sports School, Fässbergs IF and Årvoll. Husie IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna City with 1-4. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Husie comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, IFK Trelleborg, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LB07, Skurups AIF, Trollenäs IF and AB Tårnby).
