Samba Soccer Club

Samba Soccer Club was one of 30 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Samba Soccer Club, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Samba Soccer Club could be found in Group 14 together with Enebybergs IF 2, TV Wellingholzhausen and Gunnilse IS. Samba Soccer Club continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against PACES with 3-4. In the Final, IF Elfsborg won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 12. Samba Soccer comes from Cleveland, Ohio which lies approximately 6400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Samba Soccer Club, the club Ambassadors F.C. does also originate from the area around Cleveland, Ohio.
