TV Wellingholzhausen

TV Wellingholzhausen was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to TV Wellingholzhausen, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof TV Wellingholzhausen could be found in Group 14 together with Enebybergs IF 2, Gunnilse IS and Samba Soccer Club. TV Wellingholzhausen continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 1-2. In the Final, Beirut FAC won over San Javier Guadalajara and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 12. Wellingholzhausen comes from Wellingholzhausen which lies approximately 660 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Wellingholzhausen does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Tus Borgloh and BV Werther).
