IFK Tumba

IFK Tumba was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IFK Tumba, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba could be found in Group 26 together with Kampala Junior Team, RS Magny and Ekerö IK. IFK Tumba continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Varnhems IF with 2-4. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. IFK Tumba comes from Tumba which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tumba does also provide 51 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Spånga IS FK, IF Brommapojkarna, AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Tullinge TP, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, Värtans IK, DFF, Vasalunds, Boo FF and IFK Lidingö FK).
