Vittsjö DFK

Vittsjö DFK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Vittsjö DFK, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Vittsjö DFK could be found in Group 6 together with Kärra KIF, FC St. Pauli Hamburg and Ingelstad IK. Vittsjö DFK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SC Borgfeld eV with 1-2. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Vittsjö DFK comes from Vittsjö which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vittsjö does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Broby IF, IFK Hässleholm, IFK Osby, Markaryds IF, Sösdala IF, Hässleholms IF and Bjärnums GoIF).
