Ingelstad IK

Ingelstad IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Ingelstad IK, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Ingelstad IK could be found in Group 6 together with Kärra KIF, Vittsjö DFK and FC St. Pauli Hamburg. Ingelstad IK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Värnamo, IFK with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Gamla Upsala SK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 15. Ingelstad comes from Ingelstad which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ingelstad does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Karlskrona AIF, Karlskrona FF, Rödeby AIF, IFK Berga, Emmaboda IS and IFK Kalmar).
