Dalby GIF

Dalby GIF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Dalby GIF, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Dalby GIF could be found in Group 8 together with Falköpings FK, US Chantilly and Värmbols FC. Dalby GIF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Club da Turma with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Berga won over GAIS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 14. Dalby GIF comes from DALBY which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around DALBY does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, IFK Trelleborg, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, LB07, Skurups AIF, Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF and Vellinge IF).
