SV Vorwärts Nordhorn

SV Vorwärts Nordhorn was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to SV Vorwärts Nordhorn, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof SV Vorwärts Nordhorn could be found in Group 6 together with LFC Growlers, Namsos IL and Gransholms/Vederslöv IF. SV Vorwärts Nordhorn continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 1 with 0-3. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Vorwärts Nordhorn comes from Nordhorn which lies approximately 670 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nordhorn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (SV Dalum and Vfl Weiße Elf Nordhorn).
