Namsos IL

Namsos IL was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Namsos IL, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Namsos IL could be found in Group 6 together with LFC Growlers, Gransholms/Vederslöv IF and SV Vorwärts Nordhorn. Namsos IL continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lobatos Foot with 0-6. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Namsos comes from 7800 NAMSOS which lies approximately 750 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
