Säters IF

Säters IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Säters IF, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Säters IF could be found in Group 49 together with Ascot United FC, Kopparbergs BK and Värmdö IF. Säters IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 49. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy with 1-7. In the Final, IFK Berga won over GAIS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 14. Säters comes from Säter which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Säter does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Avesta AIK, Västanfors IF, Korsnäs IF and Gustafs GoIF).
