Portland FC

Portland FC was one of 8 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Portland FC, 34 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Portland FC could be found in Group 3 together with Vallens IF, Bryne FK and IK Uppsala Fotboll. Portland FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Bergdalens IK with 0-6. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Portland FC comes from Portland which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
