IFK Västerås FK

IFK Västerås FK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IFK Västerås FK, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof IFK Västerås FK could be found in Group 9 together with Svolvær IL, Gamla Upsala SK and Ryerson SC. IFK Västerås FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IBV with 0-5. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. IFK Västerås FK comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
