Fatima High School

Fatima High School was one of 9 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Fatima High School, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Fatima High School could be found in Group 29 together with Toronto High Park FC Red, Lillestrøm SK 2, Hisingsbacka FC and KB65 FF. Fatima High School continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IK Oddevold 2 with 0-8. In the Final, Footgeneration FA Algarve won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Fatima High School comes from MUMBAI which lies approximately 6500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MUMBAI does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (SS Academy/Jankidevi public school, Utpal Shanghvi Global School and Bangalore Soccer Academy).
