Metta FK

Metta FK was one of four clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Metta FK, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Metta FK could be found in Group 16 together with Route10 Futbol, Hjuviks AIK and IK Sirius FK 1. Metta FK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against ZABA FC with 1-3. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. The area around does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Skonto FC and JDFS Alberts).
