Boynton Knights was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Boynton Knights, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Boynton Knights could be found in Group 4 together with LKG-SKF, Florø SK and Boo FF. Boynton Knights continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna City FK with 0-4. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Boynton Knights comes from Florida which lies approximately 7500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
