Näsvikens IK

Näsvikens IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Näsvikens IK, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Näsvikens IK could be found in Group 15 together with SK Iron, Marin FC 1 and BK Derby. Näsvikens IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Onsala BK 1 with 0-3. In the Final, Austin Lonestars won over Skogås/Trångsunds FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Näsvikens comes from Näsviken which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Näsviken does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Iggesunds IK and IF Team Hudik).
