Remsle UIF

Remsle UIF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Remsle UIF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Remsle UIF could be found in Group 25 together with Piteå IF DFF, FC Connecticut and Smedby AIS 1. Remsle UIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hvaler/Kråkerøy with 0-3. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Remsle UIF comes from Sollefteå which lies approximately 670 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Remsle UIF, the club Sollefteå GIF FF does also originate from the area around Sollefteå.
