Ornäs BK

Ornäs BK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ornäs BK, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Ornäs BK could be found in Group 4 together with Kaupanger IL, IFK Nyköping and Académia Femenina Lleida. Ornäs BK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ope IF with 0-1. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Ornäs comes from Borlänge which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borlänge does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Brage, IK, Kvarnsvedens IK and Dalkurd FF).
