Frankfort FC

Frankfort FC was one of three clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Frankfort FC, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Frankfort FC could be found in Group 3 together with IF Skarp, Lizzy Football Club 1 and IFK Uddevalla. Frankfort FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Nordhordland BK with 1-2. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Frankfort FC comes from Dublin which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
